Missouri's Commerce Installs an Alert Tool

Online Banking Solutions Inc. said Commerce Bancshares Inc. of Kansas City, Mo., is using its alert application to notify business customers of incoming and outbound wire transfers.

The $17 billion-asset holding company's Commerce Bank has installed the OBS Online Messenger Alerts application, which delivers encrypted alerts by e-mail and text message, the Atlanta vendor said Monday.

"Wire notifications add real-time reporting to traditional treasury management products and services," Joe Spatarella, the vice president of sales and marketing at Online Banking Solutions, said in a press release. "In the current volatile environment, up-to-the-minute information about transactions is a requirement for funds management and control."
