Mitek Systems Inc. said Tuesday that it released a new version of its mobile check deposit product and that it has appointed Russell C. Clark as chief financial officer.

Clark, a software industry finance executive, was most recently senior vice president of finance at Epicor Software, a provider of business software for midmarket-sized companies. He has more than 20 years of financial experience.
The company's updated remote-deposit product now runs on Windows Server 2008 R2 and supports more check formats. This newest version also has the ability to support stamped endorsements with real-time feedback to the user if an endorsement is missing.
