Moody's Weighs CDO Rating Cuts

Moody's Investors Service Inc. said it may cut the ratings on $76 billion in collateralized debt obligations composed of commercial mortgage-backed bonds.

The size of the downgrades will depend on considerations including when the underlying loans were originated and the current rating, Moody's said Friday. Top-rated portions of the bonds may be downgraded from two to six levels.
