Three more law firms have filed class actions against VeriFone Holdings Inc. in response to Monday's announcement that it would restate its earnings for three quarters.
The San Jose terminal maker's stock dropped 45.8% Monday.
Sarraf Gentile LLP of New York, The Law Offices of Brian M. Felgoise PC of Jenkintown, Pa., and Roseman & Kodroff PC of Philadelphia said Wednesday that they had filed suits in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of shareholders, claiming that VeriFone misrepresented its financial condition.
Girard Gibbs LLP of San Francisco has filed a similar suit.
