Mortgage Network Inc., a Danvers, Mass., lender, has acquired American Eagle Mortgage, a brokerage in Lancaster, Pa., that has been serving the state's Lansdowne and Whitehall areas.
American Eagle's former owner, Dan Murphy, plans to serve as the branch manager for the locations.
According to Mortgage Network, his team of about 20 loan officers also will remain intact and continue to operate in the same locations with the support of the Mortgage Network offices in Pittsburgh and Lancaster.
Mortgage Network announced the acquisition this week. It did not say how much it paid for American Eagle.
