Nat City, Primecard Open Web Site

CLEVELAND — National City Corp. has selected Primecard Corp.’s reward and loyalty program to give its more than four million credit and debit card customers a way to get rebates at thousands of local and national merchants.

Primecard, a Wellesley, Mass., company, offers consumers reward points for shopping at merchants in its network of e-commerce and physical stores. Primecard and National City have set up a Web site, www.PrimeRebates.com, specifically for National City card customers, who can choose to accumulate “PrimeMiles” or “PrimeRebates.”

“Primecard provides us with a full-service, loyalty-based incentive program that rewards our customers each time they use a National City credit or debit card,” said Paul Reiff, National City’s vice president of relationship management. “Our rewards program partnership with Primecard illustrates National City’s continued commitment to providing our cardholders with more value for doing business with us.”

National City cardholders can earn rebates of up to 25% of the product’s price, which are automatically credited to their accounts and appear on monthly statements.

Lands’ End, Brooks Brothers, Victoria’s Secret, Lillian Vernon, Ritz-Carlton, Marriott Hotels, Barnes & Noble.com, and CVS.com currently offer rebates through Primecard.
