NCR Corp. has hired John G. Bruno as the executive vice president of its industry solutions group, a newly created position.
The Dayton, Ohio, automated teller machine company said Monday that Mr. Bruno is in charge of product development, engineering, and marketing for all of NCR's target markets.
Mr. Bruno had been a managing director at Goldman Sachs. Previously he was a senior vice president of corporate development at Symbol Technologies Inc., where he worked with NCR's current chairman and chief executive, Bill Nuti. Mr. Nuti was Symbol's president and CEO until he joined NCR in 2005.
