New York State Bankers Group Elects Goldrick As Its President

Thomas F. Goldrick Jr., chairman, president, and chief executive officer of State Bank of Long Island, is the newly elected president of the New York State Bankers Association.

Mr. Goldrick joined the New Hyde Park bank in 1968 with branch and auto- finance responsibilities. The next year he coordinated the organization of the commercial lending department. He was named a director in 1975 and became executive vice president in 1979, president and chief executive in 1981, and chairman in 1989.

Charles V. Walt, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Adirondack Trust Co., Saratoga Springs, has been elected to a two-year term as treasurer of the trade group. Mr. Walt has been with the trust company since 1974.
