Thomas E. Wiseman, president at Ohio Valley Banc Corp. (OVBC), will add chief executive to his title.

Wiseman is taking over as CEO of the Gallipolis, Ohio, holding company and the bank, Ohio Valley Bank, for Jeffrey E. Smith. Smith will continue as chairman of the company and the bank, the $793 million-asset company said Thursday.
The changes are part of a succession plan that began in January 2010. Wiseman was named president of Ohio Valley Bank in 2010. Before that, he served as on the board and was the company’s first lead director in 2005.
