Ripley Federal Savings Bank of Ohio is planning to move its core processing to the Avon, Conn., service bureau COCC.
COCC announced the agreement Tuesday.
The $96 million-asset Ripley Federal said the shift would give it a better view of customers' account details and real-time balance updates and make it easier to comply with federal security requirements.
In addition, Ripley Federal has agreed to use COCC's check processing service and its branch image capture, general ledger, and online banking applications.
Betsy L. Pasley, Ripley Federal's chief operations officer, said in a COCC press release that moving its core processing would "help us automate many more of our product features and give us additional tools to expand our deposit base."
