JPMorgan Chase & Co. has hired Hans Olsen as the chief investment officer of its private client services business.
Mr. Olsen, whose hiring was announced last week, was the managing director and chief investment officer of Bingham Legg Advisors LLC, a Boston wealth manager with more than $2 billion of assets under management. Previously he had been a managing director, a portfolio manager, and a co-chairman of the investment strategy committee at Emerson Investment Management Inc. in Boston.
JPMorgan Chase's private client unit had over $120 billion of client assets under management as of June 30.
