Orbotech Ltd. has agreed to use security technology from Parascript LLC to process paper checks in Brazil.
Parascript, of Boulder, Colo., said Monday that the Israeli check processing technology vendor plans to integrate Parascript's CheckPlus International for image analysis and pattern recognition software in its Brazilian check processing software.
CheckPlus can scan and process the amounts included on business and personal checks' courtesy and legal amount recognition fields. Parascript offers similar software in several countries, including Portugal, France, Italy, and India.
