The San Antonio payment processor Payment Data Systems Inc. said Friday that it had completed its sale of certain patents and patent applications to PCT Software Data LLC.

Payment Data, the owner of the BillX electronic bill payment portal, said it received net proceeds of $750,000.
Michael R. Long, Payment Data's chairman and chief executive, said the patents cover payments made by debit or stored-value cards through channels such as the Internet or interactive voice response systems.
