PayPal has launched a UK partnership that moves the alternative payment provider into the financial supply chain for business banking services.
PayPal teamed with a global electronic invoicing firm, OB10, which can deliver PDF-format invoices between suppliers and clients that would include a PayPal-linked payment option in the document.
The announcement noted it would be “initially” available only in the UK. OB10 operates in more than 90 countries, with an e-invoicing network of suppliers and clients who do not have to change native forms or datasets through OB10’s data formatting scheme. OB10 maintains can reduce paper-based invoice processing by 60 percent.
