Peplinski Group Inc., a Farwell, Mich., operator of long-term-care facilities, is using an automated clearing house application from PaySimple Inc. to set up payment plans and accept transactions from patients.
The Denver software company said Monday that Peplinski is using the ACH module of its PaySimple Solution software for recurring payments.
Many of Peplinski's clients use their Social Security payments to cover their monthly bills. Until last year the Social Security Administration generally issued those payments at the start of every month, but in May it began issuing funds throughout the month according to recipients' birth dates.
Peplinski said it is using the PaySimple software to set up automated payment schedules for its clients.
Amanda Nichols, Peplinski's director of accounts receivable, said in a PaySimple press release that clients "find it easier to pay us and we find it easier to collect."
