PNC Unit Appoints Regional Sales Execs

PNC Mortgage has hired Stephen B. Hesse, former president and chief executive officer of Allegiant Mortgage of St. Louis, as senior vice president in charge of 47 retail production offices in the West.

Mr. Hesse also spent 14 years with Citibank, including four years as senior vice president of sales for Citicorp Mortgage Inc. and two years as senior vice president of sales administration for Citicorp Mortgage.

PNC also named Jack A. Lloyd, formerly of Home Savings of America, to be senior vice president of PNC's retail mortgage production at 26 offices in the mountain and midwestern states.

And John C. Schleck, most recently vice president of retail production for Connecticut, Rhode Island, and eastern New York, was promoted to senior vice president for the Southeast, where PNC has 16 sales offices.

The three will report to Tony Meola, executive vice president of mortgage production.
