PointOS Professional, a Vero Beach, Fla., maker of point of sale systems for restaurants and bars, has chosen Merchant Warehouse Inc., a Boston independent sales organization, as its exclusive payment card company.
Merchants using PointOS will be prompted to apply for an account with Merchant Warehouse. Transactions connect to processors via Merchant Warehouse's online payment gateway.
The integration means merchants no longer store sensitive transaction data on these systems, PointOS said last week. Merchant Warehouse said it works with more than 400 POS software developers and resellers that send it merchant referrals.
