Broadway & Seymour Inc., a supplier of software systems and related services, won a contract to automate the back office of The Bank and Trust of Puerto Rico, located in Hato Rey.
The bank is planning to replace its existing in-house system with software from Broadway & Seymour.
The new back office system, called Liberty, will run on IBM's AS/400.
The $200 million-asset bank also plans to install the company's branch automation software, for teller functions, new account openings, and consumer, commercial, and mortgage loan closings.
Broadway & Seymour is based in Charlotte, N.C.
