Discover Financial Services' Pulse Network LLC debit unit has launched a Web site to answer consumers' questions about debit cards.
The site, DebitFacts.org, is meant to address the risk of fraud and other concerns for payment card users, Pulse said.
The site will include articles from financial experts on budgeting and other financial management topics.
"The goal of the site is to raise awareness about debit card use and present consumers with reliable and balanced information about using debit for everyday purchases and as a means of managing their personal finances," Cindy Ballard, Pulse's executive vice president, said in a press release Wednesday.
