RBC Wealth Management, a unit of Royal Bank of Canada, announced that it has hired a Credit Suisse investment team, led by Marina Galli, that managed more than $3 billion of client assets.
Last month, the Galli investment team — Galli, a financial consultant; Jennifer Seidler, senior financial associate, and registered client associates Jennifer Cai and Bonafe De Mayo — joined RBC's San Francisco office.
Galli had about $2.6 million in trailing 12-month production and, along with the team, reports to Chuck Evans, a complex director at RBC.
Galli and Cai worked at Credit Suisse for more than nine years, and Seidler and De Mayo spent more than two years there, according to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records.
A Credit Suisse spokesman confirmed that the team had left the firm.
