Rochester Bank Buys Cybercrime Dispute Management Software

Fortress Risk Management, a Connecticut-based financial security software firm, announced a five-year deal this morning to provide Canandaigua National Bank and Trust with its DisputeManager software and other services to react to financial crimes.

Canandaigua, a Rochester, New York-based community bank, holds close to $2 billion in total assets. Canandaigua will use the DisputeManager software to process transaction disputes that might arise from cybercrime. According to Fortress, the program automates much of the dispute response process, to make it less labor and time-intensive.

Aside from length, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
