WASHINGTON — If you were looking hard enough over the weekend you may have spotted Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner swimming in the Potomac River.
Geithner, 51, was among the 5,000 entrants participating in the Nation's Triathlon on Sunday, which benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The race included a 1500-meter swim, 40K bike ride, and 10K run. He placed ninth in his age group with a finishing time of 2:33:07.
According to The Washington Post's Reliable Source, race organizers weren't even aware that Geithner was among the entrants.
