Russell Investments has started an iPad-friendly version of its Helping Advisors website.
Launched in 2009, the website gives advisors access to tools such as the Economic Indicators Dashboard and the Business Cycle Index.
A 2010 study by Cerulli Associates showed that more than two-thirds of asset managers planned to introduce downloadable applications for mobile equipment, said Timothy Noonan, managing director, capital market insights for Russell's U.S. advisor-sold business, in a Nov. 17 press release.
"In a similar vein, we developed our iPad-optimized version of Helping Advisors in direct response to feedback we heard from financial advisors — that mobile computing devices help them meet their client needs more rapidly," he said.
