The Atlanta vendor S1 Corp. said it is planning to incorporate employee management technology from Resource One Inc. into its customer management software.
S1 said that adding Resource One's Motivator XP 1.2 application to its sales and service application would allow banks to calculate compensation and keep better track of their salespeople's performance.
The Motivator technology is designed to monitor employees' activities and manage compensation plans. S1's sales and service application collects and updates customer data as their financial situations evolve.
S1 said that adding the Motivator component would let banks add sales to this database, revising both customer profiles and employee performance logs.
The sales and service application is part of S1's Enterprise product line, which includes several separate modules that are designed to easily share customer data. S1 offers it mainly to large banking companies.
William A. Proctor, an S1 senior vice president and the general manager of its Enterprise branch and call center business, said in a press release Wednesday that large financial companies can have multiple compensation plans in place, covering several different types of employee.
"The Motivator system can quickly and accurately track dozens of plans covering thousands of people," he said.
