Sapp Bros Travel Centers Inc. of Omaha has agreed to use fleet card authorization and transaction capturing technology from S1 Corp.
The Norcross, Ga., banking technology vendor said last week that Sapp Bros, which operates 16 travel centers, would use its Forecourt and POS Payments systems to streamline its handling of payments. The systems, offered through S1's Postillion unit, can handle fleet card purchases of gasoline and products at the centers' convenience stores.
Don Quinn, Sapp Bros' president, said in S1's press release, "Given our current goal of growing our stores and the increasingly tighter margins on fuel purchases, it was imperative that we find new ways to streamline our transaction processing."
