Acknowledging that it’s not enough just to lock down data, but that institutions have to be able to prove to regulators that they’re in compliance, Safend is now offering a Reporter module, which integrates with the in compliance policy settings for PCI, SOX and HIPAA on its Protector product. Protector creates forensic logs of all data moving in and out of organizations, and lets administrators create policies that allow full visibility device activity and content traffic.
The Reporter dashboard gives administrators a high-level view of an organization’s compliance status, and lets them quickly and easily select irregular or suspicious behavior, and “enables easy detection of specific employees and departments that frequently disregard internal security policies,” the company says in a press release.
