A small San Diego bank has joined forces with the former trust unit of HomeFed Bank to offer investment services.

San Diego National Bank, with $170 million in assets, said its alliance with Danielson Trust Co. will enable it to offer individual and corporate clients a wider range of financial services.

Danielson, spun off from HomeFed last year, administers $4 billion in trust assets.
