TraceSecurity Inc. said Monday that it is working with the credit union technology vendor Wescom Resources Group LLC of Pasadena, Calif., to offer its security services to credit unions.

TraceSecurity is to supply penetration testing, which simulates external electronic attacks, to new clients of Wescom Resources' online banking system.
Offering TraceSecurity's testing provides "clients additional peace of mind, and gives them something they would have to source out elsewhere," John Best, Wescom Resources' chief technology officer, said in a press release. Wescom Resources is a unit of Wescom Credit Union.
