Selda, who will also be the Scottsdale, Ariz., company's president and a director when he starts on July 13, will succeed Bob Lewis, who is stepping down after tree years for health reasons.

Selda was previously the president and CEO of the networking technology provider Identity Engines. Before that he had the same titles at WholeSecurity Inc., a software company that sold itself to Symantec Corp. in 2005.

"It is evident 41st Parameter has a tremendous opportunity in this market," Selda said in a press release last week.
