Sierra Vista in California Appoints New Chairman

Sierra Vista Bank in Folsom, Calif., has named a new chairman.

Robert Perry-Smith recently retired as founder and chief executive of a Sacramento, Calif., banking compliance and auditing firm that bore his name. The firm was acquired in 2011 by Crowe Horwath in Chicago.

Perry-Smith succeeded Brady Whitlow, who became the $121 million-asset bank's vice chairman.

Perry-Smith's "presence and business acumen will add strategic value to our organization," Gary Gall, Sierra Vista's president and chief executive, said in a Monday press release.
