Silicon Valley Bank, Santa Clara, Calif., promoted Adele G. Francisco, Catherine Ngo, Robert W. Potts, and M. Susan Walters to executive vice president.

All were also appointed to the managing committee.

Ms. Francisco had been manager of the $2.2 billion-asset bank's quality control division, which included regulatory affairs, internal audit, credit review, and compliance. She now heads the corporate resources group, covering the departments of human resources, corporate communications, library staff, credit review, internal audit, facilities, and security.

Ms. Ngo had been general counsel, corporate secretary, and manager of the legal and loan documentation divisions. In the newly established legal and loan services group, her additional responsibilities include collateral audit, loan policy administration, regulatory affairs, and compliance.

Mr. Potts heads the information services group, consisting of information systems development and support and computer operations.

Ms. Walters had been senior vice president and manager of central and branch client services. She now manages the operations services group involved in client services support. She oversees the departments of branch administration, electronic banking, global funds transfer, central client services, deposit control, and loan processing.
