Standard register has new encoders.

Standard Register Co. released a line of portable check encoders designed to boost productivity and processing time.

The TE1910 encoder uses standard roll paper and offers a deep document holding area.

The TE1914 exception item encoder allows tellers to encode missing account numbers and check amount information in seconds. It is priced at $2,160.

With the TE1916 encoder/endorser, both functions can be done in one step. It is priced at $4,595.

Standard Register is based in Dayton, Ohio.
