Republic National Bank of New York selected Systematics Financial Services Inc., Little Rock, Ark., to convert its check processing operations to image item processing.
The image-based processing will be done at Systematics' data center in Piscataway, N.J.
Republic National Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic New York Corp., a bank holding company with assets of $36 billion.
Systematics will use an imaging system by Unisys at its Piscataway data center.
