Shake a Paw, a pet store chain in Mahwah, N.J., said Wednesday that Shoppers Charge Accounts will issue its private-label credit card.
The card offers a 90-day grace period on some purchases, but the chain's press release did not specify which purchases, and the company did not return calls by press time.
Shoppers Charge Accounts is a division of the $40 billion-asset TD Banknorth Inc. of Portland, Maine, which is majority owned by Toronto-Dominion Bank. Shake a Paw's four stores are in New Jersey and New York.
