BroadVision Inc., a specialist in one-to-one relationship management software for on-line businesses, said its technology forms the basis of the Farm Credit System Web site,

The system uses BroadVision One-to-One Financial WebApp to personalize financial information and services for agricultural producers and rural residents.

"Our focus is to provide our customers with access to the information they need, the way they want it," said Lynn Stevens, director of alternative delivery strategies for the Seventh Farm Credit District. "With BroadVision our customers save time through the convenience of customized financial products and services, as well as information on commodities, weather, and farm supplies. 'Custom farming' has taken on new meaning."

Sandra Vaughan, BroadVision vice president of marketing, said, "According to the Center for Agribusiness at Purdue University, farming has the highest penetration in use of the Internet of any industry." With personalization tools, she said, Farm Credit will help customers "make sound business decisions quickly and effectively, and give farmers a competitive edge in a very dynamic marketplace."
