David L. Aaron, the U.S. permanent representative to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris and President Clinton's special envoy for cryptography, will be keynote speaker at RSA Data Security Inc.'s annual conference Jan. 28-31 in San Francisco.

The conference, one of the premier annual events focusing on network security issues including those affecting the financial industry, has a tradition of inviting public-sector experts to mingle with technologists and practitioners. Ambassador Aaron issued a statement that his visit can assist his mission of "fostering a consensus on the development of an international key management infrastructure."
