WILMINGTON, Del. -- Money Access Service Inc. has further expanded its customer base in the Midwest, signing 10 financial institutions in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, and Kentucky.

The signings bring to 28 the number of new members for the company's MAC automated-teller network in the Midwest since the beginning of the year. The additions brought more than 700 teller machines, 1.1 million cardholders, and more than $12 million in revenue to the MAC network.

The newest members are: Bank of Magnolia, Ohio; Croghan Colonial Bank, Fremont, Ohio, Falls Catholic Credit Union, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; First Federal Savings & Loan, Ashland, Ky.; First-Knox National Bank, Mount Vernon, Ohio; First National Bank of Blanchester, Ohio; Kenton Rockwell Standard Federal Credit Union, Kenton, Ohio; Lawrence Federal Savings & Loan, Ironton, Ohio; North American Phillips Federal Credit Union, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Public Debt Federal Credit Union, Parkersburg, W.Va.

MAC, a unit of Electronic Payment Services Inc., has more than 1.450 participating financial institutions and 28 million cardholders in 16 states.

It is the top electronic funds-transfer network in total switch transactions and a leading provider of point-of-sale services.
