Three Credit Unions Unveil Rare Merger

Credit unions in Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming have voted to combine their three state credit union leagues, the latest consolidation of state trade associations.

The move also marked the first merger of three leagues. The merger was announced last week.

Scott Earl, the president of the Arizona Credit Union League, will head the new organization, to be known as the Mountain West Credit Union, which will be based in Denver and will maintain offices and staff in Phoenix and Casper, Wyo.
