Linda Rumpke will resign from Town & Country on April 11, according to a Thursday report in the Nelson County Gazette. She had served as the head of the $255.6 million-asset bank since 2011. Rumpke told the publication that she is leaving to spend more time with her family.

Town & Country appointed Raffo Wimsett, a director who serves on the board of the bank and its holding company, First Farmers Bank Holding, as interim CEO. Wimesett first joined Town & Country as a loan officer in 1983. He has since held a number of top posts at the bank, most recently serving as chief retail and business development officer, according to the Gazette.

Town & Country was released in November 2013 from a consent order originally issued by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. in October 2010. The lender also turned a profit in full-year 2013 for the first time since 2009, according to data from the FDIC.
