TSYS, FICO to Launch Integrated Fraud Protection System

TSYS announced Monday that it's extending its partnership with credit scoring and analytics company FICO and jointly offering a fraud management system.

The two companies have integrated the latest version of FICO's fraud management solution, FICO Falcon Fraud Manager 6, with TSYS' licensed PRIME card and merchant management solution.

The Columbus, Ga. payments processor said it will offer Falcon as a hosted service to its licensing customers around the world. The software examines cardholder behavior and detects fraud using models that change at the same speed as global fraud patterns.

"With fraud increasing and evolving around the globe, it is more important than ever for financial institutions to protect their customers' exposure to fraud with advanced analytics," said T.J. Horan, FICO's vice president of global fraud solutions, in a press release. "Falcon's powerful analytics, which protect more than 2.5 billion payment cards worldwide, offer [our]customers the most effective anti-fraud solution available to card issuers around the world."
