CyberSource Corp., which sells payment processing and risk management software, and Trustwave Holdings Inc. in Chicago, which offers compliance validation programs, announced a cross-marketing agreement Monday.

CyberSource, a Mountain View, Calif., vendor, is to promote Trustwave's compliance management applications for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard as well as pushing other products and services; Trustwave is to refer clients to CyberSource's PCI-compliant storage and payment acceptance products.
Jointly "marketing the talents of our two companies will yield the most complete set of payment security services for e-commerce merchants," David Glasser, CyberSource's vice president of global services, said in a press release.
