Two financial companies have agreed to use online banking software and other applications from Online Resources Corp., the company announced Friday.
The Chantilly, Va., technology vendor said that National Penn Bancshares Inc. in Boyertown, Pa., is planning to use a hosted, customizable version of Online Resources' banking software. The financial company will also use several other applicatins, including its account opening, funds transfer, mobile banking, and marketing applications and a module that delivers online banking applications to customers in Spanish.
Travis Credit Union in Vacaville, Calif., has agreed to use both consumer and business online banking products, consumer marketing services, and the Spanish language module, the vendor said.
The software from Online Resources "allows us to rely on their infrastructure for secure, robust systems support and also to tailor the applications to meet our membership's needs," Craig Crismon, Travis' associate vice president of information technology, said in an Online Resources press release Friday.
Both financial companies have signed multiyear contracts with the company's community bank and credit union services unit, Online Resources said.
