The mobile banking technology vendor Tyfone Inc. said it has hired Don Bloodworth as its chief financial officer.
Mr. Bloodworth, whose duties include the Portland, Ore., company's operations in India and Taiwan, had been a consultant to start-up companies. Before that he held CFO and chief operating officer positions at several companies.
Tyfone, which announced the hiring last week, offers mobile banking software and mobile payments technology, including a proprietary memory card design that incorporates a near-field communication chip, wireless antenna, and security software that can fit into the standard memory slot of many mobile phones.
