UnionBanCal Corp. in San Francisco has chosen RBM Technologies' visual merchandising management platform to organize campaign messages in the bank's more than 400 branches.

RBM's visual merchandising manager is a web-based product that allows Union Bank's marketing managers to decide where, when and how to place materials within a branch. The visual merchandising manager database will also be accessible to Union Bank's corporate real estate and facilities staff to better plan and manage the branches, RBM said Monday.

Branch managers will be able to access a location-specific database that details each retail branch's layout while corporate marketing managers will be able to deploy specific marketing campaigns using details from the database.

RBM, based in Cambridge, Mass., works with retailers to manage in-store merchandising and marketing. Union Bank, the commercial banking unit of the $84 billion-asset UnionBanCal, has 404 branches in California, Washington, Oregon and Texas.
