Wells Sees $300M Fee Hit

Wells Fargo & Co. said Friday that its revised policy for charging overdraft fees will cost it $300 million, after taxes, in 2010.

The San Francisco banking company disclosed the policy's impact on fee revenue in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

U.S. banks as a group have been bracing for new laws governing overdraft fees.
