Wilmington Trust Hires R.P. Wood For Top Post in Private Banking

Wilmington Trust Co. in Delaware has hired Comerica Inc. executive Rodney P. Wood to be senior vice president and head of personal trust and private banking.

Mr. Wood was first vice president and director of strategic initiatives in the private banking division of Detroit-based Comerica. He will relocate to Wilmington.

At Comerica, Mr. Wood directed activities in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and Tennessee. Before that he had been a vice president in commercial lending at Old Kent Bank in Detroit.

Wilmington Trust has $6.4 billion of assets and offices in California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, and more than 50 other countries.
