WorkWireless LLC, a Charlotte technology provider that uses the brand Work Software Systems, has agreed to use software from Tio Networks Corp., of Burnaby, British Columbia, to offer wireless service dealers the ability to accept walk-in bill payments.
Tio announced Thursday that WorkWireless would incorporate its payment capabilities into the WorkWireless RMS software used by thousands of wireless dealers to manage their business operations.
Dealers who sign a service agreement with Tio will be accept to consumer walk-in bill payments through its network of walk-up payment providers and cash-accepting automated teller machines.
"Having Tio bill pay directly integrated" into WorkWireless' software "makes it much easier for wireless dealers to implement and manage their bill-pay business," Hamed Shahbazi, Tio's chief executive, said in a press release.
