Zions to Install S1 Call Center Product

Zions Bancorp. of Salt Lake City agreed to use call center software from S1 Corp. at six of its retail banking subsidiaries.

Lending officers from Zions have been using S1's contact management software since October. The Atlanta vendor announced the sale Wednesday.

Both applications are part of S1's Enterprise suite, which includes products that can share information across channels.

"We feel it is important to get all our channels onto one framework," Carl Hoburg, Zions' senior vice president of information technology, said Wednesday in an S1 press release. "We need easily accessible information no matter how the customer reaches out to one of our affiliate banks, and we want each bank to have the ability to share services across channels without repeatedly rewriting ad maintaining code."
