ACH Payments, Invoicera.com Expand E-Invoicing

Electronic invoicing provider Invoicera.com is integrating its technology with payments processor ACH Payments to add an additional gateway for Invoicera.com's clients to process card payments.

ACH Payments provides multiple methods for Automated Clearing House payment processing, including a virtual terminal and application programming interface software. Invoicera.com offers electronic invoicing products delivered as a service.

"This integration provides Invoicera.com clients with the ability to utilize a payment method that can reduce payment processing expenses due to the low costs associated with Automated Clearing House processing," said Gene Krause, director of business development at ACH Payments, in a press release. Payments processed on the Automated Clearing House rails are not subject to the discount fee (percentage of the transaction amount) associated with credit card transactions, Krause notes.

Invoicera.com clients can use the ACH Payments integration to tap Automated Clearing House payments as a transaction method for both U.S. and Canadian transactions. Costs for Canadian ACH transactions are the same as for U.S. transactions.

"Companies who might typically accept paper checks for payment of services or goods will find the Automated Clearing House option as a welcome addition when using the Invoicera.com system, as they are no longer limited to receivables being settled with credit card payments and their expensive costs," Krause said in a release.

ACH Payments' integration also provides Invoicera.com clients that already have a credit card merchant account to route their credit card transactions through ACH Payments' gateway.
