Alliance Data Systems has signed a multiyear agreement to provide private-label credit card services for the electronics retailer TigerDirect.
Alliance Data's Retail Services unit will launch and provide programs with multiple financing and payment options.
"Leveraging our credit and marketing tools, this new credit program will extend the reach of the TigerDirect brand, mirroring the service and value TigerDirect brings to every customer interaction, while driving brand loyalty among its best customers—its cardholders," said Melisa Miller, president of Alliance Data Retail Services, in a release.
TigerDirect marks Alliance's entry into the consumer electronics vertical, Miller said.
Alliance Data has three business units: Alliance data Retail Services; Epsilon, which provides data-driven marketing services; and LoyaltyOne, which owns and operates the Air Miles Reward Program, a Canadian coalition loyalty program.
